E-mobility carbon credit program available in your selected country

The selected e-mobility project would result in an estimated xx tCO2 of carbon savings per annum, which could translate into an estimated financial benefit of xx USD per annum for the project owner. We are actively looking for project owners to set up new e-mobility carbon credit programs around the world.

Whether ITMOs or the voluntary market can be targeted will be dependent on the details of your project and the host country’s carbon market policies, which we can assess for you.

EcoKada joins Nigeria e-mobility carbon credit program

We welcome EcoKada joining our e-mobility carbon credit program in Nigeria

EcoKada will join Zeroca’s carbon credit program dedicated to Nigerian e-mobility players. Open to all stakeholders in the value chain, the program aims to harness the potential of international carbon markets to promote the emergence of electric vehicles (EVs) of all shapes and sizes in Nigeria. Adhesion to the Zeroca program will enable EcoKada to generate additional revenues from carbon credits from every kilometre driven with its fleet of two-wheelers for last-mile logistics.

Uchenna Njoku, Managing Director at EcoKada: “We have been running trial operations with the e-motorbikes of our OEM partner Bob Eco for some time and are now working on the deployment of a large-scale fleet in the Lagos metropolis. This will enable us to service our clients with a cheap and reliable solution for all their last-mile logistics needs with silent and emissions-free bikes. Joining the Zeroca program will allow us to keep offering attractive tariffs to our customers and improve our geographical coverage to service new urban areas across the country.”

Guillaume Rémy, Director at Zeroca: “We are delighted to see EcoKada join our upcoming Nigerian program. In every country where we operate, the last-mile logistics industry is typically among the first movers to adopt electric vehicles, and Nigeria will be no exception. The program is designed to reward front-runners like EcoKada and provide them with additional means to achieve their vision. We are honoured to support their growth through our program and thus bring our modest contribution to the emergence of the Nigerian e-mobility ecosystem.”

Companies interested in participating in Zeroca’s dedicated program for Nigerian e-mobility players can reach out to Guillaume Remy at guillaume.remy@zeroca.world for more information.
